Lean Six Sigma (L 6 Σ)

Lean 6 Sigma is a comprehensive theory, which may help to eliminate waste from and improve lead time, cycle efficiency & quality of any manufacturing or transactional process.

Simulations during my green belt training in Luneburg (Germany) showed significant improves to various back office processes, when applying the appropriate tools from the Lean Six Sigma toolkit.

Improving service processes is typically done with the so-called DMAIC approach (which stands for Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control)

This method is centered around strong project phasing and the selective use of various LSS tools, such as Value Stream Mapping, SIPOC mapping, VOC & VOB analyzes, FMEA and advanced statistics.

This webpage is certainly not intended to cover Lean 6 Sigma in great depth.

Therefore below some recommendations / links.
